Baratza Sette 30
The Baratza Sette 30 is the entry level grinder in the Sette series. It shares burrs and grinding mechanisms with the Sette 270/270Wi grinders, meaning it can produce the same excellent quality grind as its more expensive counterparts. All the grinders in the Sette range feature the 40mm steel conical S1 burrs.
It offers 31 stepped adjustment settings, ranging from espresso on its finest setting to pour over and aeropress at its most course. Coffee passes straight through the grinder, vertically, and drops directly into the grounds bin or your portafilter.
Because there are only step adjustments, you may occasionally need to adjust your dose by up to 0.5 grams in order to get the ideal brewing time. For a grinder with more fine tuning ability, consider the Sette 270.
